The podcast of Hector Bellerin ''More Than a Footballer'' will tell the stories and people behind the role of the footballer

Hector Bellerin continues to be talked about for vicissitudes - positive - off the field: after having promised to plant 3000 plants for each victory of Arsenal until the end of the championship and after presenting a video to tell the creative process that led to the collaboration between the Gunners and 424, the Spanish full back presented their podcast.

It's called ''More Than a Footballer'' and it will be used by Bellerin to help discover "the human behind the athlete, to get to know people better and explore their stories".

The title seems to have taken inspiration from the off-the-court activities of another athlete very busy off the field like LeBron James, whose agency is called ''More Than an Athlete'', to underline how much the social commitment, not necessarily linked to the world of sport, by a sportsman who is exposed to the media can have a significant impact on the lives of his fans.

In the same way Bellerin wants to be able to leave a mark in his community, giving a voice to some of his colleagues who have something to tell when it comes to football: the first guest was Serge Gnabry who, in addition to being yet another generational trendsetter, he was a teammate of the Arsenal full-back at the time of the youth sector in London.

Although it can be seen as a source of distraction from the field - and therefore a weak point -, having an activity that has social involvement as an end is a significant plus for a sportsman, who has the opportunity to focus attention on issues that would otherwise remain untouched. And Bellerin, who has such credibility that he is listened to even when it is not only about fashion, has decided to involve his colleagues to dispel the myth of the footballer tied only to the green rectangle. Exactly, ''More Than a Footballer''.
