Nike has released without any complaints a shirt that is usually among the most anticipated of the American brand, that of Barcelona.

Already at first glance you can understand the reference, which in this case is the shirt that the Catalans wore during the 2010/2011 season, the one that ended with the Champions League victory 3-1 at Wembley against Manchester United.

A shirt that in Barcelona hope to be a good omen to return to win in Europe too, using the same yellow crewneck and the same arrangement of the red and blue stripes; the differences between the 2010/2011 and 2020/2021 versions lie in the thin yellow stripes that separate the wider red and blue ones, in the edges of the sleeves - which will also be yellow this year - and in the sponsors which will all be white . The kit is completed with blue shorts, with red band with yellow edging and red and blue socks, representing the real difference compared to the suit used ten years ago, when the shorts were amaranth and blue socks instead.

The ''surprise'' is that Nike has not announced in any way the release of the shirt and that - at the time of writing - the shirt is not yet on sale on the official Barça store. In fact, in the last few days rumors have leaked that lead to think that the relationships between the Beaverton brand and the Catalan company are not so idyllic: a few days ago in fact Nike withdrew all the Blaugrana shirts already produced in the ''replica'' version because they lost color in contact with liquids (both sweat and water) and to date Barcelona itself has not yet given any support to Nike as regards the communication of the launch of the shirt, absolute oddity if you think how important a top club like the Barça for its brand.

The Barcelona home shirt for the 2020/2021 season will debut in the derby against Espanyol on July 8th but can already be purchased on the Nike website.
