Napoli will no longer have the red background of ''Lete''

Yesterday the first informations regarding the official Kappa shirt of Napoli for the 2020/2021 season was revealed and to reveal it's Enrico Caruso, sales manager for Campania of the Turin brand of the BasicNet group, who told Marte Sport Live: ''As per the indications of the League, all the shirts of the next championship will change. There will be, for example, only the writing of the sponsors and not the red background, as in the case of Lete on the chest of the Napoli players. The inclusion of the sponsor will be much less invasive than what has been seen so far".

The news of the red ''banned'' background is nothing new, given that - as we had anticipated more than three months ago - the Lega Calcio for the next season has already provided precise indications regarding the standardized use of the fonts for all the teams in the championship and for the elimination of the voluminous patches that are the background to the sponsors. The example we had made, that of Napoli, was not at all random since in the championship still in progress the Campania team is the only one to have such a flashy box due to an old agreement with Lete that dates back to 2005.

Thus ends a question that has always created discontent among the Neapolitan fans but obviously the curiosity is growing regarding the official shirts of the next season, and not only of the home kit. In fact, Caruso continues ''The new sweaters will be linear, with a new technical fabric and we are working to make them even more beautiful. We will have an unusual second color and the third kit will be even more so''. But to see them we will have to wait at least for the month of July.
