Sané's challenge for the Nike Living Room Cup

Sané's challenge for the Nike Living Room Cup The sidestep challenge in the German player's sneaker room

Leroy Sané takes the baton from Bebe Vio and gives life to the third challenge in three weeks of the Nike Living Room Cup  the series of digital trainings that offer a new space to compete against Nike professional athletes through weekly fitness challenges. The challenge of the week chosen by the Manchester City player is the side step, a typical exercise to increase the reactivity and speed of the feet. The bar of the German with Senegalese origins is quite high: the challenge is to overcome 100 repetitions in less than a minute.

"Especially in these uncertain times, it is important to stay at home", explains the former Schalke 04 player. "You don't just do this for yourself, but also for everyone else. Nevertheless, you should also remain active at home. Working out alone at home is sometimes boring because you do not have someone to motivate you in person. That's why I'm happy to take on this motivational role in this campaign and take part in the Nike Living Room Cup. Here everybody can compete against all kinds of athletes and challenge themselves. Hopefully, it is just more fun for everyone!". Sanè then adds:

"In footballing terms and personally, I want to reach out to all people, young and old, and motivate them to stay fit and keep doing sports. Inspire them to set goals, pursue them and give their all. And right now it's important not to give up and stay motivated. Maybe someone will beat me in the challenge"

The video posted on his Instagram profile not only shows the type of challenge, but also all Leroy Sané's love for the world of sneakers. A not indifferent collection that we see behind the twenty-four year old, full of Jordan of course.
