Nike presents the Phantom VSN2 ''Hypervenom''
The first of four silhouettes from the ''Future DNA'' pack
March 6th, 2020
Following an increasingly current trend in which the big brands are heading straight to the heart of the nostalgic, Nike has the first release of a collection that mixes the design of the past with the most technological materials.
This is the Phantom VSN (the shoe worn by Neymar during the 2014 world cup), before four silhouettes that launched the "Future DNA" pack, each of which obtained a retro-inspired design, including a Mercurial, a PhantomVNM and a Tiempo that will be released weekly from here to the end of March.
Originally released in 2013, the Hypervenom had been launched with an iconic orange and black color with, on the side, the graphics of a skull synonymous with aggression. The Phantom VSN 2 Future DNA Hypervenom reinterprets the model from seven years ago with a texture positioned exactly where control is needed - on the neck and along the outside of the foot - to facilitate passage and dribbling. In addition, a layer of "mesh" creates a flexible sock that adapts perfectly to the foot and remains adherent to it, while the hidden lacing system tightens easily and evenly with a single pull.
The Phantom VSN "Future DNA" edition, already seen at the foot of Kai Havertz of Bayer Leverkusen last week, is expected to sell out quickly, as all limited edition Nike usually do.
