The 424 x Arsenal mini-documentary Hector Bellerin and Guillermo Andrade talk about the creative process that led to the collaboration between the two brands

***UPDATE 06/07/2020***

The collaboration between Arsenal and 424 is one of the milestones of the combination of professional football and fashion and, despite the beginning of the partnership dating back to eight months ago, it has never stopped talking: before due to the artistic direction of the campaign feminine by Hector Bellerin and more recently due to a video that tells the whole creative process that led Arsenal's full back to collaborate with the Guillermo Andrade brand.

Through a 12-minute mini documentary, since yesterday we know all the details that led to the development of the ''formal'' Arsenal collection, also through the words of the Guatemalan designer who launches a strong and clear message referring to the whole world of fashion: "you have to be real".

The relationship between the two trend-setters is told, focusing on the responsibility - on the part of the Spanish player - of being able to dress all his teammates, a challenge accepted and won by managing to combine the tailoring of 424 with his own eye more street.

While the big names in Europe still focus on the more classic names like Hugo Boss, Belstaff or Philipp Plein, Arsenal decided to change course and did so by putting the decision in the hands of one of the most experienced and influential in the sector.

On the occasion of Saturday's FA Women’s League final against Chelsea, Arsenal Women will wear clothes designed and produced by 424, the Guillermo Andrade brand. For one of the most anticipated evenings of the season, 424 created the official formal wear of the Arsenal women's team, adapting the outfit already produced for the men's team.

The usual mix of fashion, style and art has already given rise to important collaborations, such as the capsule produced in collaboration with Hummel. Héctor Bellerín, colleague and above all supervisor of the photo shoot created for the occasion, continues to march in the direction of sport fashion, proving once again a "different player", able to conceive the style with a different approach:

Arsenal has always been a club which pushes the boundaries and here is another example of that with the partnership between 424 and Arsenal Women. It was a pleasure to work on the shoot for the new suits and I’m proud to be part of a club which innovates and collaborates across all Arsenal teams.

Peter Silverstone, commercial director of Arsenal, who says he is satisfied and proud for the collaboration just produced, echoes the words of the Gunners right back:

We are very pleased to introduce an Official Formal Wear Partner for Arsenal Women for the first time in our history. Arsenal Women are the most successful women’s team in English football and one of the most followed women’s sports teams globally on social media. It’s fitting that they will wear their new 424 suits ahead of a cup final, and we hope we can kick off this exciting and innovative collaboration with a cup victory.
