The new Size? x adidas Originals sneakers collection The first of the six drops of the 'City Series 2020' is dedicated to Liverpool

In 2010 Size? and adidas Originals worked together to design a sneakers collection dedicated to six cities in the United Kingdom (London, Manchester, Dublin, Glasgow, Birmingham, Cardiff), called the "Anniversary Series". A collection that has become a real cult, both for fans of the cities and for adidas collectors.

Ten years later, to celebrate Size?'s 20th birthday and the tenth anniversary of the launch of that collaboration that has become iconic, the two brands come together again for a new version of the six pack which, this time, focuses on the 'twin' cities: and so Dublin inspired the Liverpool model, the city that faces on the other side of the Irish Sea just opposite the Ireland capital.

The first of the six drops already planned celebrates one of the cities with the hottest fans of England, divided between supporting for Liverpool and Everton. Released in limited edition, the sneaker will have an aesthetic very similar to the adidas Dublin previously released ten years ago. Finished in green suede with yellow Three Stripes, the color of the shoe is inspired by various influences, including the Liverpool coat of arms, the old Liverpool green buses and the tiles of one of Liverpool's most famous pubs, the Philarmonic.

In anticipation of the launch, Size? he met the proud fan Peter Hooton, singer of The Farm band and great Liverpool FC fan, protagonist of the beautiful launch video of the project that shows the connection between the two port cities. Size? interviewed him over a pint of beer at The Lion Tavern trying to get inspiration from one of the city's greatest experts in history and modern culture.
