There are two great innovations that Serie A plans to adopt starting from the 2020/2021 season but that has not yet been made official: one concerns the adoption of a unique font for all teams (and it would be a huge stylistic revolution!), while the other concerns the elimination of the voluminous patches used as background for the sponsors. To be clear, the large squares on the Napoli shirt would disappear, in which there are now the words 'Lete' and 'MSC' (but also 'Kimbo' on the back), thus satisfying those who for years have been looking forward to free some blue space on the kit of the Neapolitan team.

We did not use the example of the Napoli shirt randomly, given that only the club from Campania uses this type of box, due to an old agreement with Lete, sponsor since 2005 and many times poorly endured by the Neapolitan fans themselves despite the however, the Italian company has significantly reduced the size of the box. Waiting to know if, following these changes, Lete will remain on the shirts of the De Laurentiis team, Napoli is certain to undergo a major restyling, even if the technical supplier, Kappa, who a few days ago communicated to have renewed for two more seasons.

In addition to Napoli, Inter Milan will also have to give up the 'big cookie' on the chest, which has adopted a yellow box where to put 'Pirelli' but only on the third jersey, and SPAL too, which however uses a much smaller space than that of Napoli. The other Serie A teams, on the other hand, had already gotten rid of the patch over the past few years: among them Juventus, which until last season used a black background to insert the word 'Jeep'.
