Robe di Firenze?

Fiorentina would be ready to sign an agreement with Kappa in place of Le Coq Sportif

Robe di Firenze? Fiorentina would be ready to sign an agreement with Kappa in place of Le Coq Sportif

The story between Le Coq Sportif and Fiorentina seems to have come to an end. The contract made with the company, at the time owned by the Della Valle, is expiring and, although the French have pushed to renew it, there seems to have never been a possibility of finding a new agreement. A relationship that began in the 2015/2016 season and ended not exactly in the best way: at the beginning of the current season the Fiorentina Stores remained practically free of merchandising, with Le Coq Sportif in marked delay in production.

To take over from the transalpines there should be Kappa, a brand of the Turin group BasicNet, already sponsor of Brescia, Genoa, Sassuolo and, unless sensational surprises for next season, Naples.

Kappa has never sponsored Fiorentina and would join Joma, Lotto, adidas, Mizuno, Diadora, Fila, Reebok and obviously Le Coq Sportif.

It seems that some decisions on the new purple jerseys have already been made by Commisso & Co., among these the number of uniforms: they will be three, one purple, one white and the third probably red with the white cross as the third jersey style of Genoa, albeit in inverted colors. Unlike the French brand, the line should be wider, including material also for women and with lower prices, with the possibility of purchasing the ''replica'' jersey too. According to what reported by fiorentinanews.com, the figure with which the agreement was closed is slightly lower than Le Coq Sportif one: the viola would go from 2.8 million euros per year to earn 2.5 million for four years.
