The Lyle & Scott x Lovers FC nostalgic collection

We have seen football jerseys inspire a socks collection, and football jerseys that are used to create luxury bags or bucket hats. This time, from the collaboration between the Scottish brand specialized in golf knitwear Lyle & Scott and the English collective Lovers FC, the idea was born to create sweaters inspired by some iconic kits of the past. The collection, which takes the name of 'Memories are Made', combines the historical knitting experience of Lyle & Scott and the desire to re-imagine some shirts with a nostalgic taste, synthesizing elements of the terrace culture of the 90s and casual clothing worn by English stadiums' fans.

The collaboration concerns precisely six football shirts (including the famous geometric jersey of Ajax 1989/1990, that of England and Fiorentina with the unforgettable Nintendo sponsor), re-mastered in a modern key using textured and premium merino wool, with the imaginative change of logos and sponsors.

The 'Memories Are Made' collection will be available starting February 4th on lyleandscott.com.
