'Footeuses' and the women's football in the French banlieue

The new YARD's street style documentary about the female football in France

'Footeuses' and the women's football in the French banlieue The new YARD's street style documentary about the female football in France

After 'Ousmane' and 'Ballon sur Bitume'  the French agency YARD produced, in collaboration with Miles, another documentary about underground football: 'Footeuses'. The movie tells the reality of women's football in France, thanks to famous interpreters such as the Paris Saint-Germain female players Grace Geyoro and Nadia Nadim, the former defender of the French club Laure Boulleau and the singer Aya Nakamura, but above all through many passionate young women who thanks to football managed to win their personal battle of emancipation.
A few months after the 2019 World Cup held in France, which contributed a lot to the exploit of the women's football movement in the transalpine society, YARD's goal was to focus on the lesser known sports scene, telling stories of amateur football and the lives of young immigrants on hard playgrounds. A hymn to the courage of the new sports generation, those who grew up in the suburbs and popular districts living with the difficulties of defeating the prejudices of modern society. That's why in fact 'Footeuses' is the sequel to the series inaugurated with the previous video, 'Ballon sur Bitume'. Let's take a look at the trailer below.
