Netflix presented the teaser trailer of Ultras The movie by Francesco Lettieri will be a deep dive into Neapolitan stadium culture

Among the five films officially announced by Netflix in recent months together with the collaboration with Mediaset, there was also "Ultras” a debut feature by Francesco Lettieri, director of video clips by artists such as Calcutta and The Giornalisti, but above all of all the videos of LIBERATO, including the short CAPRI RENDEZ-VOUS.
Today Netflix has officially published the trailer of "Ultras” , set in the epic of the ultras world and in particular in Naples, the city where Lettieri was born and a club for which it has never hidden his passion, as demonstrated also in the videos of LIBERATO.

Netflix CEO Reed Hastings said in October: "We will work with new professionals who have so far had little opportunity to tell their stories," Lettieri's seems to be a personal and passionate vision of the world of support and its contradictions. The plot will tell of an intergenerational friendship between a fifty-year-old Neapolitan ultras and an adolescent boy who approaches the ideals of the San Paolo stadium. The plot will retrace the last five weeks of a championship, proposing an alternative point of view to the violent and underworld narrative of the ultras world.

The film, produced by Indigo Film, is expected to be released for spring 2020 on Netflix and will be available on Mediaset for the next 12 months.
