The new River Plate 3rd kit, without the traditional sash Unveiled on the first anniversary of the Copa Libertadores win against Boca

adidas has officially unveiled the new River Plate third kit for the next season, which will be worn by the club in the Primera Division and most likely in next year's Copa Libertadores. The kit was released on the occasion of the anniversary of the victory in the Copa Libertadores, won on December 9, 2018 against Boca Juniors after the final played in Madrid. The new third jersey of the River Plate is predominantly white, with black and red inserts and without the iconic sash (which is likely to be featured in the first kit).

The adidas three stripes are black, as is the adidas logo on the chest, the sleeve edges and the 'Turkish Airlines' sponsor on the front. The design of the jersey features horizontal black brushstrokes - similiar to the ones featured in the new Euro 2020 adidas kits - of different thicknesses, which follow one another on the lower part of the jersey. Red can be seen on the collar and returns to the center of the uniform, with a red stripe placed above the brushstrokes. Two other details embellish the uniform: the inscription "El Más Grande" (the biggest) under the collar and, in the lower left corner, the tag that recalls the Libertadores victory in Madrid. White shorts and socks complete the uniform.

The new River Plate shirtis now available on the official adidas webiste.
