Among the teams for which adidas has just created the new Home Kit for Euro 2020, in addition to Spain, Germany and Belgium, there is also Sweden, which has not yet obtained the qualification and for which the German brand has opted for a pretty traditional jersey based on the yellow background and blue details typical of the national flag, using the Condivo 20 template. Through the official Instagram profile, the Scandinavian squad presented the new shirt with a powerful video, in which all the players who will wear it have promised to respect a sort of decalogue that includes respect for the rivals (but also of the referees and functionaries) , the refusal of spread hate and to guarantee the welcome everyone in the squad, without distinction from skin color, sexual orientation and religion. Almost an obligatory testament to be considered worthy of being able to wear the national team shirt, but also an explicit invitation to all the supporters to carefully follow these terms and conditions, too often forgotten.

"Because our differences make the difference."

The Swedish football selection is among the most multi-ethnic in Europe: there are typically Scandinavian footballers but also blacks (the former Palermo Robin Quaison and Alexander Isak) and of Serbian origins, like the Parma youngster Dejan Kulusevski. Recently also an Italian player, from Parma too, has joined: Riccardo Gagliolo, 50% Swedish due to his mother's nationality. In 2018 a serious episode related to racism had involved Jimmy Durmaz, the football player of Assyrian origin who caused the free-kick from which Germany scored in final minutes of the Russian World Cup match, after which he had been strongly abused and threatened on social networks and in defense of which all the teammates and also the highest personalities of the National team had lined up.
