'90s vibes in the new Pretty Green x Umbro collection The collaboration between the English brand and that founded by Liam Gallagher

Umbro has presented the collaboration with Pretty Green, the brand founded in 2009 by the former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher. The collection consists of T-shirts, long-sleeved and short-sleeved polos shirts, trousers, drill tops, tracksuits and parkas, inspired by the English 90s fashion and the garments worn by Gallagher during his career and that made him an icon of the brit-pop style.
Liam Gallagher is the protagonist of some historical photos that portray him with Manchester City football shirts and jersey signed Umbro, therefore he could not miss in the collection also a football jersey, which takes inspiration from a representative model of English football as the third jersey of the English national team worn by Gazza Gascoigne and Gary Linker at the Italia 90 World Cup. The original texture is replaced with a Paisley motif, which returns as detail in numerous items in the collection. There is no lack of other typical elements of Umbro shirts such as the collar and the Double Diamond logo, combined with that of Pretty Green.

The presentation video recalls the British scenarios of the 1990s, with images that highlight the exposed brick of the suburbs, the crowds - from the stadium or concert - and reminiscent of some 90s music videos. Punk and rock inspirations, as well as green, gray and blue colors, represent the stylistic mark of the Gallagher brand in all its recent collections, which in Umbro has found a perfect meeting point.
