Despite being a simple 'backup' jersey, AC Milan's Away jersey has always been very appreciated from their supporters, if only for the many times it has been worn for important events, and above all for historical triumphs. After making his debut back in 1910, in fact, the Away kit was the main actor of six Champions League winnings, so much so as to be universally recognized, within the Milan world, as 'The Lucky One'.
In 2019/2020 the Rossoneri team will dress him again, and to celebrate this particular relationship PUMA and AC Milan have made a mini-documentary involving some of the protagonists who, with the Away kit on, have won something important: Paolo Maldini of course, but also Giovani Lodetti, Daniele Massaro, Josè Altafini and Franco Baresi. The shirt is a simple equation: white with a red stripe and a black one on the shoulders, of equal size and length, 50% red + 50% black = 100% Milan.
The team coached by Marco Giampaolo will wear it for the first time on July 28th during the friendly match against Benfica.
