The new documentary on Leeds United narrated by Russell Crowe 'Tell Us Home' tells of spy-gate, Marcelo Bielsa and the passion for the Peacocks

A few days before the beginning of the new season, Leeds United presented "Take Us Home", the documentary produced by Amazon Prime Video that traces the stages of the 2018/2019 season, one of the craziest and most incredible of the last edition of the English football's Second Division, and one of the most intense and exciting for the Peacocks.

The hopes of returning to the Premier League, smashed in the semifinal play-off against Derby County, espionage accuses and the passion of one of the hottest supporters of English football are some of the themes that will lead spectators and football lovers to live behind the scenes of all these emotions, from the locker rooms to the pitch.

The documentary is an entertainment format experimented by many teams over the years, to create a different relationship with the fans and sporting enterprises. Excellent examples have been produced recently by clubs such as Juventus, Sunderland and Manchester City, which in the past few days have announced the birth of their streaming platform, on which will be launched "Fight 'Till the End", which tells the season of the Domestic Treble conquered by the Citizens.

"Take Us Home" has an exceptional narrative voice, in fact the Hollywood star Russel Crowe tells the first season at Leeds of the true protagonist of the Whites: the manager, Marcelo Bielsa. The Argentine with his tactical lessons to Lampard during a press conference and a naïve approach has awakened the passion of Ellan Road's fan and the atmospheres that were lived in the golden age of the mid-70s and early 90s, when Eric Cantona, Gordon Strachan's Leeds won a historic Premier League title.

"Take Us Home" will be available starting from next August.
