The Football Manager's patch that takes you back in time

Football Manager is the most known managerial football game, that since the 90s thrills and entertains millions of fans. For someone it's a real 'drug', despite this, it's possible to get bored with the 'same' careers. A user of the big FM community came to meet the common desire of lots of people: by downloading a patch created by the enormous community of the game, you can coach in the current year, 2018/2019,  but with the players of the 2003/2004 season. So we could play with Nedved and Del Piero at Juventus, a young Kakà at Milan and legends like Paolo Maldini and Roberto Baggio at the end of their careers, all set with the Championship Manager 2004 values, the ancestor of the current Football Manager.

Although is clear that train these champions isn't like playing them firsthand as in EA Sports' product, it's very entertaining to coach some clubs buying the top players of that period, or take the so-called "little clubs" to buy the young future stars (at a moderate price) like Yaya Touré, Arjen Robben and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

But how can we download this patch? There are two ways: the first one from the Steam Workshop and by activating the database in the advanced settings just before starting a new career: the second by downloading directly the file, extracting it from the file and transferring it into the "Games" file of the game's file, then by activating the database and start a new game. We must specify that almost every other additional patch can be downloaded and set always in the same way. In fact, Football Manager is also known for the almost unlimited quantity of editing that is possible to make, going to reach an exaggerate realism level, adding, for example, the name of the real managers of the players, the official name of the competitions or the name of the components of a coaching staff. The database 2003/2004 is only the last patch that increases more the charm of this videogame.
