How to buy tickets for 2020 European Football Championship With one year before the start of the Euro 2020 it's already time to get organized

Just one year from the start of the 2020 UEFA European Championships, on Wednesday 12th June at 2.00 pm will began the first phase of ticket sales for what will be a completely new edition because it's itinerant. In fact there will not be a single host country but the games will be played in 12 different cities (Rome, Baku, St. Petersburg, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Bucharest, London, Glasgow, Bilbao, Dublin, Munich and Budapest), celebrating in the best way 60 years from the birth of the competition. If the semi-finals and the final are all scheduled at Wembley, the opening match and some of Group A games will be played at the Olimpico in Rome.

The UEFA official website is the only channel to purchase tickets: the first window during which you can send your request is the one that provides the highest number of tickets and will last exactly one month, followed by two more phases, one scheduled for December 2019 and one in April 2020, dedicated to the fans of the teams that will qualify last. Also in this case, as is normally the case for other UEFA competitions such as the Champions League and Europa League, tickets will be awarded by drawing lots, so there is no certainty that they can be purchased.

Here's all you need to know before to buy your tickets:

- First of all you need to create an account, for free of course, on the UEFA web portal;

- Not be in a hurry: there is no chronological pre-emption compared to the time the request is sent;

- Choose tickets depending on the stadium and the relative ticket range: prices start from € 30 in Category 3 for matches scheduled in Baku, Bucharest and Budapest to € 945 in Category 1 for the Wembley final;

- A maximum of 4 tickets of the same category and for one game a day can be requested;

- The you just need to cross your fingers and wait for the UEFA response, which will arrive by email between the end of July and the beginning of August.
