The Daily Paper's digital-football collection Four vintage shirts inspired by the 90s in the new Dutch brand's SS19 collection

Summer vibes in the new SS19 collection of Daily Paper, which also features four shirts inspired by the world of retro football jerseys and digital graphics. The polo shirts, in a breathable fabric, recover the bright colors, shades, and patterns of the 90s, when the sportswear brands dared with the creativity of football uniforms.

Daily Paper, born in Amsterdam in 2012 and evolved from a blog to a fashion label, had already aroused interest among football and fashion lovers for its collection, created in collaboration with PUMA, which celebrated 20 years of the partnership between the brand and the CAF (Confédération Africaine de Football).

The first shirt, worn by Masego, is characterized with blue stripes which degrade downwards into yellow, as well as on the sleeves. The vintage touch is given by the black collar, finished with green and blue details. On the chest is placed the logo of the brand and the crest, in which the close link between Daily Paper and Africa, in which the three founders Hussein Suleiman, Jefferson Osei and Abderrahmane Trabsini are born, come to mind. The digital inspiration is very evident in the second jersey, with advertising banners contrasting with pastel colors and white line texture. This scheme is also followed by the blue pinstripe polo, inside which the crest returns along with black and white prints and typographic compositions. Last item football-inspired, the shirt with green and blue stripes, a touch of summer expected and appreciated.
