"Diego Maradona" is the new documentary directed by the British filmmaker Asif Kapadia, Oscar winner for "Amy" in 2016, dedicated to Diego Armando Maradona.

This new project was created by putting together over 500 hours of unreleased videos that come directly from the personal archive of Pibe de Oro.

The film tells Diego's story during his years in Naples at the turn of the late 80s and early 90s, during which Diego was everything and its opposite: the two Scudetti, the Uefa Cup but also the difficulties of his private life.
