Russell Westbrook stars in Acne Studios' SS19 Campaign The number 0 of Oklahoma City Thunder shot by Juergen Teller

Just last night against the Portland Trail Blazers, Russell Westbrook, the Oklahoma City Thunder's number 0, re-entered the story by reporting the tenth consecutive triple-double surpassing Wilt Chamberlain and placing the longest ever strip in the history of the NBA.
But this time we deal with Brodie for reasons beyond the field: Russell Westbrook is the star of the Spring / Summer 2019 campaign by Acne Studios.
Always a fashion victim, Russell is considered one of the best dressed NBA players with amazing outfits every game time. Taking the MVP of the regular season 2016/2017 was the famous German photographer Juergen Teller who chose Oklahoma as the campaign location as if to underline the strong bond that links Russell to the place that for 11 years has been his home, since he started his career in the NBA. The same connection between Acne Studios and denim, the other campaign star; the first garment produced by Acne was jeans more than twenty years ago.

“I was already a huge fan of Acne Studios, so I was really excited when they asked me to be the face for their new campaign, I really identify with Acne Studios because their aesthetic is very unique, and I like to be unique too.”

Russell Westbrook has commented the campaign. Among the jeans worn by Russ there is the first jeans ever produced by Acne, the 1996.
