Trapattoni has landed on Instagram

A short time ago we criticized the Instagram profile of Serie A, guilty of being too institutional, too banal, too little catchy. Social media is the bread of the new millennium and the Lega Calcio, at this moment, does not seem to have teeth.

On the other hand, however, there is someone who still knows how to appreciate bread. An unexpected new entry in the social world, a rather surprising entry both for the timing and for the quality with which it was put in place: Giovanni Trapattoni opened his Instagram profile for several months.

The former coach of the Italian National team has become part of the most popular social network of the moment thanks to the collaboration of his nephew Riccardo, who helps him manage the profile. This would already be enough to make the Trap landing on Instagram sweet and affectionate, but the reality is that its profile stands out above all for the way in which an 80-year-old man communicates to his followers his days, his memories, his ideas.

Right move: now the blue check is there, because at the Trap’s whistle it is impossible to remain indifferent.
