The adidas COPA Mundial are back A new modern reteiration of one of the most famous adidas football symbol

2019 is a special year for adidas, the sportswear colossus turns 70. Will no doubt adidas have a number of special edition releases lined-up throughout the next 12 months, symbolic items of its historical archives reinterpreted with a taste and a modern approach. To confirm that, a modern version of one of the most famous symbols of the German brand was presented: the COPA70 boot.

The shoe, born in 1982, is a symbol so precise of a nostalgic football when the shoes were only in black and the Copa Mundial was the most stylish example among them. The upgrade of the boot is remarkable, the upper changes completely and now adopt the primeknit technology, the sole with red cleats is the same as the COPA19 and is inspired by a model of the '70s, while the retro patch on the tongue is in blue. The colorway could only be the original, two-tone, black with the three white stripes, as well as the panel on the heel, on which appears the retro logo "adidas". Still doesn't change the 'Copa Mundial' write, in gold on the outside of the shoes, one of the characteristics of the original 1982 model, a cult object for football fans.

Along with the football models, two trainer versions were also presented, in two different colorway and with a different sole but the same upper in primeknit, worn by the Juventus striker Paulo Dybala.
