The end of 2018 was a real binge, and we are not talking about to the endless pre and post Christmas meals: Serie A played three times in a week, the Premier League has never stopped as well as the Italian Serie B. But now almost all of the European football leagues has gone into hibernation, but do not cry: we'll found something interesting to watch on the next weekend!
Bari-Messina

It's Asian Cup time! The first major tournament of the year will take place throughout the month of January in the United Arab Emirates and will see for the first time the participation of 24 teams: Son's South Korea; Marcello Lippi's China; the favorite number one, Japan; Australia for the first time after many years without Cahill and Jedinak. If you do not have anything better to do on Sunday, at 5 pm is scheduled the group B match between Syria and Palestine: it does not matter if we do not know any footballer, it's a match in some historical ways that we sincerely hope neither of the two selections lose.

Even the Ligue 1 is still, but the whole weekend is dedicated to the 32nd round of the French Cup: among thousand unlikely matches the only one worth following could be the classic challenge 'David against Goliath' between the PSG and a fifth series club, Pontivy. Some general info: the game will play in Lorient because the home stadium is too small, while the Parisians have decided not to call the whole South American block (Neymar, Cavani, Thiago Silva, Di Maria and Marquinhos). Ah, the odd of Mbappé & Co's win is 1.01.

The same situation for the Premier League, that's time for the FA Cup games. The most prestigious competition in the whole United Kingdom, you know, is always an opportunity to see semi-unknown teams succeed in eliminating top-flight clubs. But instead of dwelling on some possible underdog we chose Wolverhampton against Liverpool, the only match between Premier League teams with Bournemouth vs Brighton. Moreover the forecast is anything but written: Liverpool is still unbeaten in the English soil this season while the Wolves are unbeaten too against the top 7 of the standings.
