To honor over 40 years of soccer heritage, Kappa will be hosting a charity soccer match alongside the unveiling of historic archive Kappa jerseys during the last weekend, in Art Basel, Miami. The soccer match organized by the brand, in partnership with Miami Soccer Cage, hosted teams of creatives and celebrities from the art and music worlds competing against each other in a friendly match.

It was a charity event and the donations were allocated to YoungArts Foundation, that identify and nurture the most accomplished young artists in the visual, literary, design and performing arts, and assist them at critical junctures in their educational and professional development. Participants in the game had sporting bespoke Kappa jerseys, from the Kappa Kalcio collection, a new line of elevated sportswear, designed with creative Art Basel elements for both the Art and Music teams.  In the event have been spotted important fashion protagonist as Virgil Abloh and also former Italian players like Matteo Ferrari and Massimo Marazzina.

Spectators and guests have had the opportunity to view a curated selection of jerseys from the Kappa archive, the nostalgic presentation was displayed on the soccer field adjacent to the game and will play host to a public viewing of 15 archival jerseys. Lorenzo Boglione, Vice President of Sales for BasicNet has said that Kappa is very pleased to bring for the first time the incredible Kappa soccer archive exhibition to America.
