"Dear Steph Curry, don't you make female shoes?"

Dear Steph Curry, don't you make female shoes? The captain of the Golden State Warriors personally replied to a letter from a 9-year-old fan

***UPDATE***
Little Riley received a beautiful gift for Christmas
A very special Santa Claus gave her what she wanted most.

Stephen Curry is the captain of the NBA champions in charge not for nothing.
Besides being a leader from a technical point of view, he possesses human qualities that few other players of his level possess. It is one of the most "accessible" NBA champions, always available with fans and more. Curry is also the most important face and testimonial of Under Armour, a brand that makes its signature shoes for example.

A couple of days ago the two-time NBA MVP received a letter from one of its small fan, Riley (same name as the first daughter of Steph) of 9 years, in which, however, there were not the usual compliments but a request states: Riley asked Steph why it was not possible to buy Curry 5 on the Under Armor website as she had not found them in the women's section.

I asked my dad to buy me the new Curry 5's because I'm starting a new basketball season. My dad and I visited the Under Armour website and were disappointed to see that there were no Curry 5's for sale under the girls section, even to customize.

Actually, the possibility of buying them exists but it is rather complex, you have to go in the section for customizing shoes for boys, which is obviously a bit 'difficult for female fans of the Golden State Warriors number 30. The young fan of Curry has raised a theme that is important, however, the hidden machismo in the world of sports shoes and consequently in that of sneakers. There should be no different methods based on gender for a pair of shoes to appear and little Riley did a really good job. Perhaps thanks to a 9-year-old girl, the accessibility to the Under Armour site for girls will change very closely.

I know you support girl athletes because you have two daughters and you host an all girls basketball camp.
I hope you can work with Under Armour to change this because girls want to rock the Curry 5's too

Steph's response did not wait, besides engaging personally in solving the issue, will send a pair of Curry 5 and Curry 6 when they released, and also invited her little fan to Oakland on "women's day"

Unfortunately, we have labeled smaller sizes as "boys" on the website. We are correcting this now!
More to come on that, but plan to be in Oakland that night!

Before the game against the Toronto Raptors, journalists at the press conference asked the Warriors coach Steve Kerr what he thought of his captain:

"I saw what he did, and it does not surprise me a little bit ... Although he is a great player, Steph is an equally impressive human being ... His interaction with the fans and the people in general who meet him is completely This is the nice thing about Steph: he understands the power he has on people's lives, I'm incredibly proud of him and our kids, because we have a team full of players like that, but Steph notices more about the amount of the attention it receives from millions of young boys and girls around the world I love the fact that I am aware of it, and that I use it for nothing but the good of people"
