Who said that football players have a boring life, only dedicated to the matches? Giroud and Kimpembe will soon appear in French cinemas as dubbers of the upcoming Spider-Man movie, Özil has decided to sell cosmetics with his friend Flamini while Depay has recorded a rap track after a recent trip to Ghana. Among the players struggling with music there is also Romelu Lukaku: the Belgian, one of the most prolific strikers in the world, especially because of his age, started to collaborate with a friend known during the childhood in Antwerp, the rapper TheColorGrey, with whom he worked in a project called New Levels. But do not misunderstand: Lukaku does not sing, but simply co-produces with his friend, the text author, a song with clear urban sounds and also hip hop, an original soundtrack of his adolescence that celebrates the climb to the success of the impressive original striker of Congo descent.

The Manchester United's forward has always been a famous estimator of rap, from which he takes great inspiration. For the first time, his personal sponsor PUMA (with Bleacher Report) allowed the Red Devils striker to get in touch with TheColorGrey for extracalcistic activity such as creating a musical track. The Belgian artist said he was enthusiastic about this project with RL9, who admires a lot for his incredible confidence in himself and for being "a self made man", exploiting his talent to become someone despite the difficult conditions in which he lived as a child. "Romelu is a model for all the kids who live in a complicated context like that of the street, where he grew up, and they want to realize their own desires."

In the meanwhile, Lukaku admitted that he agreed to collaborate with TheColorGrey because "he can really understand where he came from and what he had to go through before he achieved success, and above all what it means to be a child who grows up with the burning desire to pursuing a great dream while his parents are struggling with the difficult circumstances of life".
