The Premier League renews the agreement with Nike until 2025, confirming theirs as one of the league's longest collaborations. The partnership between the two companies began in 2000 and brought many advantages such as the technology evolution of the ball which, from the Nike Geo Merlin from 2000/01 up to the 15th version of the Premier League Merlin for 2018/19, had an impact important on the game. It is estimated that in recent years there have been 6,940 games played and 18,490 goals scored with Nike balls. Support such as Martin Buckley, VP/GM Nike Global Football, said: "Nike’s two decades of partnership with the Premier League continues our commitment to innovation on the field and supporting players from the grassroots to elite levels of the game. We are excited to extend our partnership and inspire more men and women to play the game."

In the new agreement, in addition to the official football, the sportswear company will provide kits and equipment for the development of youths in the league and for international events. It will also support the Premier League Primary Kit and Equipment Scheme for the benefit of schools across the country.
