BAPE celebrates its birthday with a camo Formula 1 Fast & fashion?

What have you done for your 25 years? Have you gone out with friends? Did you eat pounds of cake and drank like there was no future? Well, A Bathing Ape has done things a little bigger. In fact, after a Mercedes 300 SL, a Mercedes-AMG GT S and a Mercedes-Benz G-Class, has decided to celebrate the important birthday with a Formula 1, of course, all camo.

The one presented in the luxury shopping complex of Omotesando Hills in Tokyo is not only a very expensive toy , but it represents a small record: it is the first time in its 70 years of history that the company Formula 1 implements a partnership of this kind (that is not specific for a racing team) with a fashion label. It is a co-branding project to bring fans closer to the sport that marks the beginning of the collaboration between BAPE and the international auto racing league. This is reflected in a press statement by Tanya Wilkinson, the Formula 1 Head of Marketing Partnership announcing a larger pipeline of products on site to celebrate both the thirtieth anniversary of the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka and the 1000th Grand Prix of next season in China.
