On Friday night, there has been a very touching moment for the whole NBA world, with the introduction of the “class of 2018” into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, that means the history of American basketball. Among the cover faces - with some people like, Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, and Grant Hill, other than reporter Doris Burke and photographer Andy Bernstein - there was Ray Allen, one of the most legendary shooters of the league, two times NBA champion with the Celtics and the Heat.

And to celebrate this massive achievement reached by Jesus Shuttlesworth - a nickname gotten from his participation to Spike Lee’s He Got Game - the Jordan brand sent no less than Gentry Humphrey, its Vice President of Footwear, at Allen’s house, to deliver him a special celebratory box with four Jordans representing as many steps he took during his career. The new Hall of Famer, which played almost his entire career wearing the Jumpman, got a sneaker for his early years with Milwaukee, one for his time with the Seattle Supersonics, one for his Golden Era with Garnett and Pierce’s Celtics, and one for the last, winning seasons at James, Wade and Bosh’s Miami Heat.

The four sneakers, that feature references from the Air Jordan XVI, XX, IX, XI, and XX8 - all in their PEs versions - homages Allen’s introduction in the Hall of Fame with a special branding. They have been presented in a special custom box with Allen’s logo and Hall of Fame one.
