adidas release the Predator Accelerator Electricity OG The iconic model made by the Three Stripes is back for the twentieth anniversary of the silo

It’s been twenty years since adidas released the Predator Accelerator, one of the most successful boot models made by the Three Stripes. To celebrate this important anniversary, the brand from Herzogenaurach has decided to take the time machine, releasing a pair of Predator Accelerator “Electricity” that looks like they’ve just been at David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane’s feet… And that’s why they both are part of the launch campaign, after spoiling the Accelerators on Instagram a few weeks ago.

The 2018 Predator Accelerator “Electricity” is an almost identical replica of the original model, with K-Leather upper and black rubber fins all over the boot. All the main details are at their places, with the only exception of the soleplate, as it has been used a more modern and lighter version. The original volt red/volt yellow colorway has remained untouched, both on the Predator Accelerator “Electricity” and Tango Ultraboost, the street model that will allow you to bring your swag at the office. But, of course, there’s a catch.

This release dedicated to the twentieth anniversary of the Predator Accelerator will be part of adidas limited collection and will be available in limited quantities. In fact, on July 5 adidas will drop 1999 pairs of boots, celebrating the year when the “Electricity” colorway was released. If you want to cop a pair, head to prodirectsoccer.com and give it a try.
