Toulouse has changed its logo: a new partnership with Man. City soon? Not only a new crest for the 80th club's anniversary, but also important company news

A few hours after Lille OSC, another French team back from a terrible season has decided to make a small revolution: we are talking about Toulouse, which after seriously threatening relegation, has sold its most promising player (Issa Diop) and announced the new coach for the next year (the former Alain Casanova). Not to be enough the white-purple team has also changed its badge, an operation already scheduled for some time to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the club's foundation.

In 2017, on the occasion of the birthday, the company asked to their fans to present their personal proposal: among more than 400 different ideas was voted that of a young fan, Julien Labazuy, who managed to introduce in little space the story of the club and the previous badges. The shape of the logo has remained circular; the name of the city of Toulouse returned (previously there was only the acronym TFC) and also the year of the foundation, 1937; while inside of the logo there are the symbols of the city of Toulouse including the typical Occitan cross and the lamb.

Looking at the new badge, which will appear on the game uniforms from the next season, many seemed to see a clear resemblance to the new Manchester City logo. In reality it is something more than a rumor linked to a simple physical feature: the president, Oliver Sadran, has announced that it is working to estabilish a partnership with a big European Big to ensure a capital increase of about 20% and reinforcing the club economically, and the name in question could be that of the City, which already boasts more or less official collaboration agreements with New York City FC, Melbourne City FC, Yokohama Marinos and Girona.
