Yesterday, Juventus won its seventh Scudetto in a row.
The sentence should make us reflect about the current state of Italian Football, which shares many characteristics with politics but not the leadership's alternation. The silver lining is that it has been the most beautiful championship for at least 10 years, and above all, it is not yet finished: Inter and Lazio will face off next Sunday to decide who will go to the Champions League. It will be a game with quite some history for Serie A: from the infamous May 5, the banner "Oh noooo" and the case of De Vrij, a freshly bought by Inter that could play against its next interest. All other European Championships are now closed and, as usual, a bit of the end of the year has arrived, with spectacular matches and a rain of goals.
