The 2017/18 season hasn’t been the best one for Chelsea, that after being champion in the previous year hasn’t been able to confirm itself, remaining away from the title race for the entire season and likely out of the first four spots that guarantee the Champions League qualification. And to archive this bad season, the Blues have presented the home kit for the 2018/19 one, made by Nike Football.

For the season to come, the Swoosh was inspired by some old Chelsea kits from the Eighties and Nineties - among the most beloved by Stamford Bridge fans - that used to side red to the iconic Chelsea blue. This nostalgic inspiration features in a classic blue shirt with dazzling horizontal red and white lines that creates an unseen design for Antonio Conte’s team (for now). Blue shorts and white socks complete this kit, that will be used by both the male and female team, that has just won the FA Cup with the ‘Footballer of the Year’ Fran Kirby.

The new 2018/19 Chelsea home kit will be worn for the first time on May 13th during the club's final league game of the season. It will be available for sale May 11 on nike.com/chelsea and at the Stamford Bridge Megastore.
