Nike celebrates the jersey culture with an exhibition in Milan During the Milan Design Week, Nike Football will highlight 40 years of Swoosh football jerseys

In recent years, the football jersey has undergone a radical transformation: from a simple sportswear accessory to an iconic object, a symbol of contemporary culture. On nss sports we told you how the football shirt came out of the playing field to enter clubs, catwalks and streets all over the world as a fashion item, revolutionizing the relationship between the sporting world and the cultural one. On the occasion of the Design Week, Nike Football celebrates the iconicity of the soccer jersey with an exhibition dedicated to the most important uniforms produced by Swoosh in the last 40 years. The exhibition will open for free to the public from April 18 to 22 at the Spazio Maiocchi in Milan (Via Achille Maiocchi 7), among the exposed mesh there will be those of Rome, Inter, PSG and the Brazilian Seleçao.

The exhibition is part of the "Brothers of the World" campaign - which we are telling you exclusively about nss magazine - and will serve as a side-dish for the workshops on jersey customization (from 19th to 21st April) at Spazio Maiocchi featuring Matthew Williams and Heron Preston, and a talk with Marco Materazzi, Tim Small and Stefano Carloni. DFi below you will find the complete program of events organized by Nike during the Design Week: to participate in the workshops you need to register on Nike.com.
