Twitter will broadcast MLS games and highlights The social network confirms the trend that sees more and more sports on digital devices

Are you already fall in love with MLS and you never know where to watch it? Now, and for the next three years, it will also be available to comfortably enjoy it via Twitter: the American social network will broadcast games and highlights on a national scale, offering both on-demand content and live events (for a maximum of 24 matches in streaming), adding a whole series of exclusive contents related to the 23 teams of the top US league.

So unsettled Facebook, with which the American league had already made an agreement last season and had already offered a similar service with the Friday's night Spanish Liga match. The first game, between Real Salt Lake and Los Angeles FC, was already broadcasted last Saturday. The accounts to be followed are @MLS, @UnivisionSports, and @FutbolMLS. "We are excited to collaborate with Major League Soccer to bring football matches live on Twitter," said Kay Madati, VP and Global Head of Content Partnership, Twitter. "Passionate MLS fans will now have live match day action alongside real-time commentary from experts and fellow fans all in one place on Twitter."

Chris Schlosser, SVP Media, Twitter, said " MLS constantly strives to connect with fans in new and innovative ways. Our fans are the youngest and most socially engaged in pro sports, which is why we're excited to partner with Twitter to feature live games live on their platform."
