Here's the first trailer for Uncle Drew, the movie with Kyrie Irving Celtics' point-guard will interpret the older alter ego, brought to success for a series of Pepsi commercials

During the years, many of you may have heard about the legendary character of “Uncle Drew”, the venerable old man able to make the American playgrounds’ crowd go crazy. Of course, this man is no other than Kyrie Irving, that many years ago took the character of the old Drew for a series of tv commercial for Pepsi. Celtics’ point-guard, though, seems to enjoy the interpretation of his older alter ego, as he’s ready to bring Uncle Drew to the big screen. Don't you believe it? Here’s the trailer.

The movie will be a sports comedy, that will try to tell the street culture of the New York playgrounds, showing the differences between the old generation of basketball players and the new. Of course, Kyrie Irving involved some other former NBA players, and if you paid attention to the trailer, you’d surely have spotted Shaquille O’Neal (of course), Nate Robinson, Chris Webber, Reggie Miller, and Lisa Leslie. So, “Uncle Drew” will unlikely reach the popularity heights of some cults like “He Got Game”, but it will probably worth the time spent to see it. The “Uncle Drew” movie is coming to theaters on June 29.
