AIK x NIKE white Pack

A few weeks ago, we’ve been stunned by finding that one of the best looking kits seen in the last months was in a pre-season match in Sweden, AIK Solna-IK Frey to be precise. For the occasion, in fact, the small Scandinavian club wore a special total black kit made by Nike, used to homage the shirt used in a game back in 1901 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of AIK Solna’s foundation. Now the club has repeated itself, with an “all-white” iteration of the Nike kit.

During another pre-season game, this time played in Dubai against Midtjylland, AIK players worn an all-white shirt inspired by the historic 1900 season, when the club won its first Sweden championship. As for the black kit, the AIK boys also replicated the photo shot at the time while wearing the new kits, for a perfect reproduction of July 29, 1900, when the 1-0 victory over Örgryte gave AIK Solna its first championship.

We must say that the two shirts had a certain worldwide success, as the Nike all-white kit went sold-out in just six minutes.
