Bitcoin - the world's most talked-about cryptocurrency - have officially entered the world of football for the first time thanks to a Turkish amateur club. Yesterday, the president of Harunusta Spor Kulübü announced on Twitter the purchase of the 22-year-old striker Ömer Faruk Kiroğlu, costing 0.0524 Bitcoin, which today corresponds more or less to 442.24 euros. The club has however paid an additional sum of 533 euros in the player's pockets.
