Jamaica announces partnership with Umbro Raggae Football way of life

The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) and the England-based sportswear manufacturer Umbro have signed a 4-million kit sponsorship deal, it was announced yesterday via Instagram. The new agreement, which begins next year and will run for four years, will see the brand outfitting Jamaica's men's and women's teams. The kits, according to word out of the JFF, will be worn for the first time as the senior Reggae Boyz begin their build-up to their qualification campaign for the 2022 World Cup.

The Jamaica Football Federation is delighted to welcome UMBRO as our new kit sponsor! UMBRO is a partner that shares our commitment to the "Jogo bonito", the beautiful game and the development of our Jamaican football brand as we look to take "ReggaeFootball" to the world! We look forward to building a strong relationship between our two brands both on and off the field as we seek to dominate the sport. We are grateful for the fantastic opportunity to work with such a great global sports brand. The new kits will be officially launched in 2018. #JFFLive #JamaicaFootballFederation #StillOnTheBall @umbrolatam @concacaf @fifaworldcup @jamaicaobserver @poweradejamaica @jpstmarys @JMMBGROUP @Wisynco @officialwata @pure_national_ice @CocaColaJamaica @courts_jamaica @stewartsautogroup @SherwinWilliams

Umbro currently provides kit for the Peruvian and Serbian national soccer sides and is also the official kit manufacturer for English Premier League clubs AFC Bournemouth, Everton FC and West Ham United. The Jamaica national men’s soccer team qualified once for the Fifa World Cup in 1998 and finished second in the 2015 and 2017 editions of the Concacaf Gold Cup. The women’s side were runners-up at the 2014 Women’s Caribbean Cup.
