Stranger Kits S01E04: Juventus FC Discovering the most hazardous, forgotten, loved and hated jersey of football clubs

The Old Lady has always been synonymous with elegant sobriety, and her black & white uniforms perfectly represent the essence of a winning mindset. "Others speaks about Juve-style, not us", just to quote Gianni Agnelli’s famous words. But in the proverbial composure of the most successful club in Italy there are also striking of astonishing vivacity. Yes, Juventus has its Stranger Kits, too:

Third 2004/05 by Nike

Out Miccoli, Ibra in, who with Del Piero and Trezeguet formed one of the strongest Juve’s attack. Nike designed the second jersey with an irregular striped blue-pink. If you were playing with PES then your eyes were bad.

Goalkeeper 2002/03 by Lotto

The great abdominal jersey. It also existed in gray and light blue version, but the pink one is definitely more impressive. It makes Buffon half goalkeeper and half superhero.

Third 2012/13 by Nike

Well, you love or hate it. The shocking pink with giant black star remains one of Nike's boldest designs for Juventus. Perfect for sober people like Vidal and Pogba.

Third 2005/07 by Nike

Juve does nothing but wins Italian leagues, therefore Nike rightly makes a tricolor jersey. Rather bad, to tell the truth, but it serves to strengthen the status of "Champions of Italy" in her DNA. It was even used for end-of-season festivities.

Third 2008/10 by Nike

Nike leaves the traditional colors (the frequent away kits’ blue-yellow is in tune with the colors of the city of Turin, but you already knew it) and unsheathes a gold tint with which Pinturicchio puts k.o. Real Madrid with two golden goals.
