The German brands reshapes the standards of football boots with an unseen lacing system

PUMA Future 18.1 NETFIT Black/Yellow The German brands reshapes the standards of football boots with an unseen lacing system

Yesterday, we anticipated you the incoming arrival of the new PUMA Football silo, set for early 2018. Straight from Herzogenaurach, though, they really wanted to tease all their fan with a “black/yellow” limited edition that wants to redefine the standards of football boots. PUMA has always been innovative through its history, from the launch of the Super Atom back in ’52, to the golden age of the PUMA King, worn by football Gods like Eusebio, Pelé e Cruyff. And of course, with the Torero, handed into legend by Diego Maradona’s feet (and hand).

Now, the German brand wants to break all conventions once again, mainly thanks to its latest Lacing System technology, NETFIT, that allows players to adopt the position of the laces based on their own preferences, following the shape of the foot. On the upper made in evoKNIT, in fact, there’s a net - the honeycomb-shaped yellow structure - that allows putting the shoelace in the preferred position, being able to create solutions that improve the comfort of the show from footballer to footballer. The PUMA Future also introduces a renewed sole, called RAPIDAGILITY, realized with a reactive and ultra-light material (Pebax) that, also thanks to the mixed conical and pointed studs structure, guarantees the best result in terms of grip and stability.

As we said, the PUMA Future 18 will debut in the new year, but this limited edition 18.1 NETFIT will be worn this weekend by Antoine Griezmann during the Madrid derby. It will then be available at PUMA Stores and selected retailers. PUMA brought the Future on football pitches and we can’t wait to live it.
