"Beppe" the jersey dedicated to the Zio Bergomi by FOKOHAELA

A great mash up of jersey from Euro 1988: the Italian kit meets the Dutch geometric pattern

Beppe the jersey dedicated to the Zio Bergomi by FOKOHAELA A great mash up of jersey from Euro 1988: the Italian kit meets the Dutch geometric pattern

FOKOHAELA - the brand powered by losdejos - presented earlier this weekend Beppe, a jersey that celebrates captain of the Italian squad in Euro 1988 Beppe Bergomi, with an important detail. In fact, the scheme of the jersey is the same of the of the Tulipano Nero - dropped last week - inspired by one of the most classic jersey ever made: the Netherland's kit for Euro 1988, when the Oranje won the championship with Van Basten, Gullit and Rijkaard.

The geometric pattern of the Dutch jersey is applied on the Italian total blue shirt designed by diadora. The lines of the figures are green, red and white, while the inside is colored with different shades of denim blue, that gives a jeans touch to the jersey. In the Euro 1988 the Italian squad was eliminated by the Soviet Union in the semifinal, so they have never played against the Oranje team and their champions, that were playing in Italy for the Arrigo Sacchi's Milan. A very nice detail of the jersey is the Italian crest: the design is the original one from 1988, but if you notice there are four stars, instead of three, because of the 2006's World Cup.

"Beppe" is available on the FOKOHAELA online store for 95 euros.
