The debut of Neymar signature Nike Mercurials

A few months ago, talking about the collaboration between the Jordan brand and Barcelona’s phenomenon Neymar Junior, we predicted how the Brazilian could’ve become the new top player of the Swoosh, putting Cristiano Ronaldo apart. And even if Real Madrid number 7’s star seems far from over, Nike must’ve thought that the time was right to launch its newest champion.
During the last training and the friendly match against Juventus, when he scored a stunning solo golazo, Neymar took the pitch with a pair of what are almost certainly the first pair of his new signature shoes by Nike, a pair of Mercurial. In the last months, in fact, the Brazilian preferred the shoe usually worn by CR7, giving up on the Nike Hypervenom that he used until that moment, and that let him have the prestigious collaboration with the Jordan brand. So the only thing missing is the confirmation: Nike is ready to launch its first Mercurial Neymar.
From the pictures from SoccerBible it can be seen the homage to the Brazilian national team, as the colors are the iconic yellow and blue, and probably to the five World Cups won by the Carioca. It has to be seen if these new Mercurials will debut in Barcelona or Paris, but in any case a new chapter for the glorious shoe by the Swoosh is ready to start.
