Tottenham signed a multi-year deal with Nike and presented the new kits £30 millions per season from the Swoosh, that also presents the new home and away jerseys for the next season

These are exciting days for Tottenham, as with the official ending of the 2016/17 season - from July 1 starts the new one - has become official the new deal for technical supply between the Spurs and Nike. The news already leaked a few weeks ago, also with some leaked pictures of the new kits realized by the Swoosh for the London-based club, and now it’s official. Tottenham and Nike signed a multi-year partnership, with an esteemed worth of £30 million per season.

The announcement of the new deal was followed by the satisfied statements of both parts. “We are delighted to be partnering with Nike, committed to partnering with us both at home, at a time when our new stadium scheme is the catalyst for the regeneration of Tottenham, and globally, with our growing fan base mirrored by Nike's worldwide reach.”, said Daniel Levy, chairman of Tottenham FC. "We are excited to partner with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, a club with a proud heritage, strong identity and exciting future," replied Trevor Edwards, President of Nike. "The partnership allows Nike Football to accelerate our focus on London, connect deeply with an incredibly passionate global fan base”.

Nike and Tottenham also unveiled the two new kits for the 2017/18 season, home and away. The two jerseys present almost the same identical design, with an elegant alternation of colors. The home shirt is white, as the tradition of the club, and presents blue details on the necklace and the sleeves, with the sponsor logo in red. Vice versa, the away kit has the blue as the main color and the white as secondary for details. Both shirts present the “Spurs” writing on the back of the necklace, but most of all the new club’s crest, an homage to the 1960/61 team, the first to win the Double in the post-war.

For sure, these are important news for Tottenham, that thanks to this new deal with a colossus like Nike - other than the arrival of the new stadium - candidates itself as one of the most fascinating clubs in the next years. The new Tottenham home and away kit are already available on nike.com and the club's store.
