The step-over is one of the moments that most of all marked our idea of Allen Iverson. It built the legend of Allen Iverson and, together with the incredible performance of those Finals, made possible the inclusion of AI in the Hall of Fame. We’ve talked a lot of the step-over, also collecting all the best parodies of that gesture on the social media.
However, nobody talked enough of which shoe was Iverson wearing when he did the infamous step-over Lue. A shoe that is now in the history. It is the Reebok Answer IV, the fourth signature of AI with Reebok. That shoe is being now re-releasing in a very limited edition.
The announcement has been made yesterday, on the occasion of the birthday of Allen Iverson from Reebok and Lapstone & Hammer, a Philly boutique. But there is a bad news for all the Iverson fans: the shoe will be only released during the release event of Friday the 9th, hosted by Iverson his self.
