Best NBA jerseys according to ESPN The editorial staff tried to decide which uniform is the most beautiful ever

If there’s anything that the NBA will never agree on - other than the doubt if LeBron can be considered Jordan’s heir or not - it’s the list of the most beautiful jerseys in its history. The attempt to list them have been many, everyone following its own principles, or a set of convincing rules. The truth is that there’s no scientific method to do that, and the will to find one itself symbolizes nothing but the complexity of the choice.

NBA history, in fact, is full of jerseys that made history, signing entire eras with their designs. It’s easy to identify, for example, Raptors Vince Carter’s jerseys with the Nineties, or Magic’s with the Eighties. It’s unavoidable that the most famous is His Airness’, Michael Jordan, but we also had a chance to see that also the contemporary one are selling a lot, mainly thanks to the many superstars that still play in the league.

ESPN’s team tried for the umpteenth time to do make some order into jerseys' complicated world, choosing ten of them that - one way or another - reflect the tastes of the editorial staff. With some ‘filters’: they haven’t considered ABA’s jerseys and alternate versions, trying to reduce - if possible - the choice. Truth is that no one will probably achieve to satisfy all the NBA enthusiasts on which jersey is the best one, but here are all the ESPN’s choices:

San Francisco Warriors, Seventies

New York Nets, Seventies

Atlanta Hawks, Eighties

Boston Celtics, always

Washington Bullets, Seventies

Indiana Pacers, Seventies

Denver Nuggets, Eighties

Seattle SuperSonics, Seventies

Phoenix Suns, present day

Portland Trail Blazers, Eighties
