Few weeks ago we wrote about the Fear of God collection dedicated to 1987 – the year of the great rivalry between Celtics and Lakers – that could represents the start of the great return of the basket-wear. This thesis finds supports thanks to the collaboration between FILA and Urban Outfitters, totally inspired by the underground basketball of the 90s.

The release if, in fact, entirely realized following the 90s aesthetics of the most famous USA playgrounds, from New York and Los Angeles, an aesthetic that we appreciated in a lot of movies of the period, from Do The Right Thing to White Man Can’t Jump, and that in this case find application in a series of garments (both masculine and feminine) that uses materials of that period.

The collection is available right now exclusively online at UO webstore, and from the next may 22 on the stores.
