The 100 most powerful people in football There are four Italians, but the top of the list is governed by Premier League representatives

Last weekend the major soccer leagues came back and, as always, they brought many surprises with them. Speaking of which, few days ago FC Football, an Anglo-Saxon magazine, launched its 100th issue where they proposed a special football-business chart, putting in order the major football personalities. Four celebrities represent Italy in this particular classification, even if none of them is set at high seats.

The Anglo-Saxon mag, which is oriented both to football and business topics, wanted to draw up a particular ranking where we could have found the most influential football personalities: from presidents to coaches, from managers to sport agents many of them are enlisted; even Miles Jacobson, the Football Manager’s creator, is set at the 47th spot. FC Football decided to take into consideration for this ranking from the 2004 on, without considering what have happened before this year.

As we said above, four are the Italians listed in this chart: first amongst them, there is the new UEFA boss, Gianni Infantino, who in 6th place, right after the very bosses of world football. The second one is Mino Raiola, who occupies the 25th place: the sport agent represents the business part of this special ranking. The last two ones are Silvio Berlusconi and Claudio Ranieri: the AC Milan President takes the 56th place, just after King Claudio, who deserve to take the 57th spot after his endeavor.

The FC top 10 is totally occupied by presidents and football authority: before Infantino there are Mansour, the Manchester City boss, and Roman Abramovich, Chelsea FC president since many years. In 3rd and 2nd place there are former UEFA and FIFA presidents Michel Platini and Sepp Blatter. The 1st place is taken by Richard Scudamore, Premier League CEO: the PL boss has been able to grow and capture the best of its best, making Premier League probably the best championship in the world in terms of show and quality.
